Profiles of KEY TEAM MEMBERS

Ashley Neale

Managing Director

Ashley co-founded Red e-solutions in November 2004. He has over 9 years successful sales experience with particular skills in IT hardware and software, e-services and human resources. Ashley's experience covers the Australian marketplace.

After working in the Australian office of Inspar Inc., Ashley formed his own web development company with a particular focus on the travel industry. After partnering on the growth of many of Australia's Top 10 travel and accommodation websites, Ashley moved into a successful career recruiting salespeople for Melbourne-based IT organisations. Following that experience and more in enterprise technology sales, Ashley created the concept of Red e-solutions, along with Andrew Matlock.

Today, Ashley is focussed on the growth and management of Red e-solutions. He believes in his people and the values of the company of integrity and positive outcomes.

 

Andrew Johnson

Senior Partner

Andrew has over 30 years experience in the IT industry selling high value, complex business solutions to major corporate and government organisations. In his career, he has held positions in sales, sales management, channel management and general management with organisations such as:

  • Information Builders (Senior Business Development Manager)
  • Oracle (Senior Business Development Manager)
  • Intentia (now Lawson)
  • Ingres
  • Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC)
  • Computron

In these positions he has consistently proven his ability to develop new markets, create and manage new business ventures and build and manage successful sales teams. Andrew has received a number of awards during his career, including The Gartner Group and CFO Magazine award for the best software company and sales operation in Australia. His experience also includes the international stage, having built and managed sales operations in Australia, Asia and Europe in recent years.

He is particularly recognised for his knowledge of Supply Chain Management and eCommerce. His clients have included Mazda, Glaxo Smith Kline, Orica, Motorola, Moran Furniture and Hagemeyer. Whilst recently based in the UK he assisted the UK government to define and implement their eProcurement initiatives.

 

Paul Prosser

Senior Partner

Paul has managed sales teams with quotas in excess of A$85 million with team members dispersed across Australia including leading sales teams in winning business at Telstra – A$5mil Oracle corporate licence, Victorian State Government – A$7mil Government wide Oracle Financials Management application suite, Qantas – A$3mil p.a. products and services, Toll Transport – A$1m Sun Microsystems infrastructure. His previous vendor experiences include:

  • Cognos (Senior Government Account Manager)
  • Oracle (Sales Manager)
  • Sun Microsystems (General Manager)
  • Computer Associates (Vice-President)
  • Baan (Sales Director - Australia)
  • Computron
  • Prime Computers

His style of management is consultative with strong mentoring and leadership capabilities designed to leverage the
skills of individuals to grow them into ‘complete’ sales people by using his experience for advice and training.

Paul has developed a reputation for creative thinking and the ability to develop and accelerate new business
opportunities by understanding the dynamics of the prospect organisation and the ‘buying biorhythms’ of both the
executive sponsor and the company. These activities have assisted him to develop larger transactions in shorter
timeframes and to deliver increased value to both the vendor and the client.

After many years selling and managing teams in the ICT industry in Australia, Paul has developed a significant network of colleagues within ‘adjoining spaces’ so that he can provide guidance to clients on ‘the bigger picture’ to achieve the status of trusted adviser.

 

Christopher Horsley-Wyatt

Channel Account Manager

Christopher (Chris) joined Red e-solutions in 2006 and now leads our distribution business. Chris studied Business at La Trobe University Bendigo before moving to the sales industry in 2001 where he worked with a national distributor of IT products as an account manager, working with major retailers, education and technology resellers.

Chris's customers included major retail clients such as Harvey Norman, Myer, Harris Technology and education retailers Computelec, Software Time and Edsoft. Chris has also had extensive experience in direct and government sales.

 

William Wyatt

Sales Co-ordination Manager

William (Will) joined Red e-solutions in December 2006 as a Sales Co-ordinator. Through his leadership and exceptional achivements, Will now manages the projects and operations for our Sales Co-ordination business. Prior to joining Red e-solutions, he worked in management and leadership roles within the construction, transport and logistics industries.

Will spent 5 years in the Australian Defence Force, training internationally and experiencing command positions. His multi-faceted, transferable skills make him ideal for his current role. Will has completed education in Project Management and Workplace Training and Assessment.
